Premier Golf Event Marketing

Founded in 1987 as a Florida corporation, R.B. Robertson and Company has a special flair for developing and implementing distinctive sports marketing programs for its clients.  Randall Robertson is president and chief executive officer.  A veteran of International Management Group and Golden Bear International, Mr. Robertson specializes in golf, working exclusively with corporate clients and charitable organizations.  Because the company does not manage athletes or represent sports properties, it is free to maintain a clear, arms-length relationship with players, their representatives and events in work with clients.

Initial work in golf was devoted to Arnold Palmer's golf management and course design interests in the late 80's and early 90's.  As a principal working closely with Mr. Palmer, Mr. Robertson initiated marketing services and membership development plans for real estate clients in the U.S. and the Pacific Rim, directing personal appearances and special event support.

Randy RobertsonIn subsequent years, Mr. Robertson continued to work with Palmer Course Design and IMG to further their business interests.  More opportunities followed with Hale Irwin
Golf Services in support of appearances and golf design projects.

In 1994, Golden Bear International brought Mr. Robertson aboard to take charge of Corporate Event Marketing.  Projects included the Jack Nicklaus CEO Cup, the Wendy's 3 Tour Challenge, the Coopers & Lybrand Invitational in support of the Ryder Cup, the U.S. Corporate Golf Championship presented by Forbes magazine, and the Downtown Athletic Club's High School Heisman Award program.  Since returning to Central Florida, Mr. Robertson has continued to work on high-profile sports properties like the Ryder Cup, The Masters and U.S. Open, and with PGA Tour players Lanny Wadkins, Curtis Strange, Johnny Miller and Tom Kite on events and appearances.

Most recently, Mr. Robertson enjoyed a two-year association as Partner and Managing Director of the Golf Division of Disson Furst and Partners.  Client relationships included Marriott, EMC, Savvis, Thomas Weisel Partners and McKesson HBOC.

Mr. Robertson is sought after by such industry groups as the National Association of Golf Tournament Directors to speak at national conferences and direct regional seminars, and also serves on the Golf Advisory Panel for Successful Meetings magazine.  He is an honorary member of Omicron Delta Kappa, former Vestry Junior Warden at All Saints Church Winter Park and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Rhodes College.
